Who are you and what do you do?
We’re a small, family-run business based in Torquay, Devon — just the two of us, a husband and wife team — offering quality fabrics for less! ✂️✨
How so cheap?
We source deadstock, clearance, and overspill fabrics from trusted UK suppliers, which means:
- We cut out a lot of the "middle men" meaning more savings for you!
- You get beautiful, quality fabrics for less
- We help reduce textile waste
- You can create something special without breaking the bank 💚

How to get there?
Car - Travel by car and enjoy FREE 1 hour parking bays on Lucius Street, if there are non available, there is also FREE parking bays from 1 to 3 hours on Belgrave Road and Croft Road, as well as other streets nearby.
Walk - You can easily walk to us from the seafront head straight up belgrave road and at the cross roads take a right.
From Torquay Town Centre walk up to the top of town (left side of subway at the top) follow the road down and we are on the right hand side just past the zebra crossing, the bus stop is right outside our door. Below is a map highlighted in yellow are routes from town to us

What are your in-store opening hours?
Our shop is open on the following days:
- Wednesdays – 10:00am to 2:00pm
- Fridays – 10:00am to 2:00pm
- Saturdays – 9:30am to 2:00pm
🕰️ Our opening hours reflect our caring responsibilities — something that’s really important to us. We’re passionate about running our business while keeping the right balance at home. Thanks so much for your understanding and continued support!
How is my order shipped?
We ship all online orders using Royal Mail 48 Tracked, which usually arrives within 2–3 working days after dispatch. You'll receive tracking info as soon as your order is on its way.
We dispatch every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. If you need your order faster please let us know by contacting Sophie by phone / text 07486 398879 or email us at fiverfabric@gmail.com these are the quickest ways to contact us.
You are responsible for ensuring your shipping address is correct as it automatically gets sent to our royal mail system and printed.
Can I collect my order in person?
Yes — you’re very welcome to! Just select “Collect in Store” at checkout. We’ll email you when it’s ready and you can pop in during our opening hours to pick it up.
Do you get new fabrics often?
We sure do! We upload new fabrics regularly, so be sure to check back often or follow us on Instagram and Facebook to see what’s new.
Since we deal mainly in limited stock, many of our fabrics won’t be restocked — so if you see something you love, snap it up while it’s available!
Do you sell fabric by the metre or yard?
All fabrics are sold by the metre, unless clearly stated otherwise on the product page.
Can I visit you in person to browse?
Yes — our shop is open on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays (see above for times). You can browse in person, ask questions, or collect your online order.
What are your events about?
Check our Events page for dates and details. Open to all ages and abilities.
Do you offer fabric samples?
Currently, we don’t offer swatches, but we try to provide clear photos and detailed descriptions for each fabric. If you need more info about a fabric’s texture, weight or stretch, feel free to contact us — we’re always happy to help!
We are happy to send videos and photos by facebook or WhatsApp!
Do you offer bulk or wholesale discounts?
Our prices are already super competitive, thanks to how we source our stock. However, if you're looking to order 10+ metres, get in touch and we’ll see what we can do!
What’s your return policy?
Due to the nature of us cutting fabric to order, we’re unable to accept returns unless your item is faulty or we've made a mistake. Please get in touch within 14 days of receiving your fabric and we’ll do our best to sort it out quickly and fairly.
Any returns postage must be covered by yourself.
